Just wondering. Mine was dealing with perfectionism and imposter syndrome. What is or was yours? I combat it by reminding myself of my accomplishments, that I’m knowledgeable in my field, and that in my 9-5 I manage the finances of an organization who’s budget runs between $8M-$11M a year. 🤷🏽‍♀️ It can be hard to get out of your own head, but I find fighting doubts with facts helps if I beat the out of control spiral to the punch.

We’re still at the top of a new year. Although it’s about to get crazy for me with @autryllc I plan on doing more work with high schoolers and pre-professional programs focused on Black students 💜 ⁣ ⁣ Who do you plan on impacting?

I had another post planned, but this is how I want to end the first week of the month. It's breast cancer awareness month. Having a 2x survivor in my family brings this especially close to me and hopefully, it serves as a reminder to self-check and see your OBGYN at least annually. Here in the US, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime, average risk of 12-13%. You're more at risk if someone in your immediate family has had it. Unhealthy lifestyle habits can also contribute to its development, but its never too late to live and be healthier. The only harm is in NOT getting checked. Stay happy and healthy this month, and every month 💜💕
